2008年，舉世矚目的奧運(yùn)會(huì)將于中國北京盛大開幕。與此同時(shí)，順應(yīng)中國機(jī)床市場持續(xù)蓬勃發(fā)展的態(tài)勢需要，機(jī)床業(yè)界兩場盛會(huì)將相繼亮相大江南北、各自雄霸一方，為進(jìn)一步促進(jìn)中國機(jī)床行業(yè)快速發(fā)展，提供重要機(jī)遇。

在業(yè)界，享有盛譽(yù)的CIMT逢單年舉辦，而其“姊妹展”CCMT，自2000年逢雙年已在上海成功舉辦了四屆。自2008年起，CCMT將正式移師北京。2008年4月21～25日于北京中國國際展覽中心舉辦的CCMT2008主題為：“展示自主創(chuàng)新成果，推動(dòng)重大專項(xiàng)實(shí)施”。屆時(shí)，CCMT2008將為全面、充分地展示中國數(shù)控機(jī)床產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展的新水平和新面貌，提供一個(gè)技術(shù)舞臺(tái)。

2008年7月9～12日，機(jī)床行業(yè)另一場饕餮盛宴——第十屆東博國際機(jī)床展（EASTPO2008）將于中國經(jīng)濟(jì)金融以及制造業(yè)中心——上海隆重開席。EASTPO 2008不僅有最新產(chǎn)品的展示，前沿技術(shù)的交流，更將為世界各國和地區(qū)的機(jī)床制造商，帶來展開貿(mào)易的絕佳際遇。

已成功舉辦了九屆的東博國際機(jī)床展，自1999年開展以來，便以打造貿(mào)易展為己任，以展覽實(shí)效為目標(biāo)，以迅捷、時(shí)尚、靈活、有效的市場化運(yùn)作機(jī)制，贏得了業(yè)界的廣泛關(guān)注與普遍贊譽(yù)。EASTPO2008主題為：“打造最具實(shí)效的全球機(jī)床貿(mào)易平臺(tái)”，是世界機(jī)床“大腕”入駐中國市場的便捷通路，也是中國機(jī)床邁向世界的康莊大道。

在今年EASTPO2007上，世界各地的機(jī)床協(xié)會(huì)與企業(yè)紛紛組團(tuán)前來進(jìn)行實(shí)地考察觀摩，對(duì)EASTPO2007的現(xiàn)場效果及東博累積10年的品牌經(jīng)驗(yàn)產(chǎn)生濃厚興趣與信心。因此，EASTPO2008海外招展?fàn)顩r非常順利，招展伊始便捷報(bào)頻傳，截止至2007年9月底，EASTPO2008已經(jīng)贏得了韓國、德國、印度等國家組團(tuán)積極參與，有更多國家團(tuán)的合作正在交涉論證過程中。屆時(shí)，上海在新國際博覽中心，100，000平方米的貿(mào)易平臺(tái)上，世界各國機(jī)床工具品牌將擺開豪華陣容，同臺(tái)競技，各顯神通。

2008年，全球奧運(yùn)盛事之年，世界各地體育健兒在中國大展身手，各競風(fēng)流；2008年，東博十年慶典之際，機(jī)床行業(yè)繁榮之時(shí)，CCMT與EASTPO兩個(gè)國際大展，在時(shí)間與空間上遙相呼應(yīng)，在滿足業(yè)界需求方面相互補(bǔ)充，為全球機(jī)床業(yè)界呈上值得期待的榮耀巨獻(xiàn)。

In 2008, The Beijing Olympics which has attracted worldwide attention will welcome its grand opening in Beijing, China. Meanwhile, to comply with the flourish demand of machine tool market, machine tool industry will have two major events: EASTPO 2008 and CCMT; One is located in the south-Shanghai; another is located in the north-Beijing. These Two events will provide an important opportunity of further promoting the rapid development of China's machine tool industry.

In the machine tool industry, the prestigious CIMT is held at odd number years in Beijing and its “sister show”-CCMT is held at even number years. Since 2000, CCMT has been held for 4 editions in Shanghai. In 2008, it will be formally moved to Beijing and its theme will be “Showcase results of independent innovation and promote the implementation of major projects.”

From 9-12 July, 2008, another event in the machine tool industry-10th Shanghai International Machine Tool Fair (EASTPO 2008) will be held at China's economic, financial and manufacturing center-Shanghai. EASTPO2008 will not only provide the opportunity for manufacturers all over the world to showcase their latest products and cutting-edge technologies, but also a chance for them to develop business in China.

Since 1999, EASTPO has been successfully held for 9 times with the vision of making it a cost-effective trade show. Through the operation of market mechanism, EASTPO won wide attention in the industry. The theme of EASTPO 2008 will be “Build a most cost-effective trading platform for world’s machine tool makers”. It will be a convenient access for overseas makers into China’s market and a tunnel for Chinese makers to the overseas arena.

During EASTPO 2007, many machine tool associations around the world and enterprises visited the fair with great interests in its on-site results and ten years of history. Up till the late September, a number of countries are participating actively to organize country pavilions, such as Korea, Germany, and India. More negotiations are undergoing regarding the cooperation. By them, a number of top brand machine tool manufacturers will presented at the 100,000 sqm floor.
